Mandatory Qualifications:
(i) University degree in Library Science or graduate with a one-year diploma in Library Science from a Government recognized institution.
(ii) Age group requirement: 25 to 50 years as of 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled.
(iii) Age Relaxation:
– Women candidates and physically challenged candidates: Up to five years.
(iv) Ex-servicemen candidates: Allowed to deduct the period of continuous service in the Army, Navy, or the Air Force from their actual age. Resultant age should not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more than three years.
– Such ex-servicemen candidates, if selected, will retire from the School as per the rules of the Society.
(v) Candidates with at least two years of continuous service in any Air Force School but not presently working in an Air Force School: Age relaxation up to the extent of such service rendered in Air Force School, maximum of two years. Serving staff of the School who apply for the post will also be eligible for the same.
(vi) Language Proficiency: Should be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English and Hindi.
(vii) Basic knowledge of computer applications, especially MS Office.
