Scale of Pay : Basic Pay of Rs. 22700/- (Cel-1 of leval 6 in the Pay Matrix of ROPA-2019)  Level-6 in the

 Age : Should not be less than 18 years and 

above 40 years as on 01.01.2023

(A) Required Essential Qualification: 

a) Passed in Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent and Possessing a pass Certificate in Library & Information Science from any of the following institutions: 

i) Training Centre attached to the Bengal Library Association. 

ii) Training Centre attached to the District Library, Ramakrishna Boys’ Home, Rahara. 

iii) Training Centre attached to the Janata Colleges, at Kalimpang and Banipur. 

iv) Any other training Centre recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal for the purpose. 

b) Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent are also eligible to apply. 

c) Basic Knowledge in Computer Application. 

d) Knowledge in Bengali. 

(B) Desirable Qualification: 

Working experience in Library Administration(Applicable only for full paid employee in a Library).
