Selection of the candidate will be as per latest guidelines issued ty the Director of Higher Education, Govt of Assam. The age of the candidates and salary etc are as per the prevailing rules of Assam Government.

Scale of pay : Rs. 12000/-37500/- + Crade pay Rs. 4400/ 

Upper age limit for the post of Library Bearer as per Govt of Assam, Department of Personnel (B) vide their letter No ABP.6/2016151 date 02.09.2020 on 02.09.2020

 1. 40 years for General (UR) candidates as on 01.01.2022 

2. 45 years for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes candidates as on 01.01.2022

 3. 43 years for OBC candidates as on 01.01.2022

 4. 42 years for Ex-serviceman candidates as on 01.01.2022 5. 50 years for PWD candidates as on 01,01.2022 

Applications in standard format (available in the College website) rvith complete Bio-Data (Including contact number, Ernail ID. Photo etc) and self-attested copies of all testirronials are hereby irrvited from eligible candidates for the below,v mentioned posts of Library Bearer who have passed class VIII examination.

Borooah College, Guwahati, payable at Guwahati must reach the undersigned on or befbre 4 P.M. of 26.11.2022,
