QUALIFICATION
i) Should have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks from a recognised Board of School Education.
ii) Should have atleast one year diploma in Library Science from any Institute/University duly recognised by Centre/State Government.
iii) Should possess a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English type.writing or 25 words per minute in Hindi typewriting on Computer.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION
Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh

SYLLABUS FOR EXAM
There will be 100 questions in all. Each question will carry one mark.
1. Objective type questions (MCQ) related to Diploma in the requisite field 👉 60 marks.
2. Objective type questions (MCQ) related to English of 10+2 Standard 👉 10 marks.
3. Objective type questions (MCQ) related to Hindi of Metric Standard 👉 10 marks.
4. Objective type Questions (MCQ) related to Himachal GK and current affairs 👉 20 marks.
TOTAL 100 marks
Duration of Examination l 1 t hr (90 minutes)
