Essential Qualifications:
- First Class Master’s in Library & Information Science (MLISc) or equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institute with a consistently good academic record.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Computers, IT & Digital Applications in Library.
- Working Knowledge of KOHA, DSpace, and other Library Applications.
Mode of Selection:
- Interview: Final selection based on performance.
- Written Test: May be conducted if a large number of applications are received.
- Document Verification: Before the interview.
Syllabus for Written Test:
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based without negative marking.
- Syllabus similar to UGC NET in Library and Information Science.
