Essential Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks.
Knowledge of computerization of library.
Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET.
Candidates with a Ph.D. degree are exempt from NET/SLET/SET if certain conditions are met (Ph.D. awarded in regular mode, thesis evaluated by external examiners, etc.).
