Position: Librarian (Contractual)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Full-time First Class B.Lib.I.Sc / B.Lib.Sc and M.Lib.I.Sc / M.Lib.Sc with proficiency in typing and PC operation.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proficiency in classification systems like DDC, UDC, etc.
- Experience with library management software like NewGenLib, Koha, etc.
- Familiarity with digital library management software like Greenstone, D-Space, etc.
- Strong IT skills and experience with databases.
- Must be enthusiastic about learning and applying the latest technologies.
- Capable of independently managing the library.
Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month
Age Limit: Must be below 65 years
Term of Engagement:
Initial contract for 1 year, renewable up to 3 years based on performance and institutional requirements.
